About soLinkable
soLinkable is your evolving bookmark, it is a place to gather, a source of all that is new, interesting, or popular on the internet. soLinkable allows you to share stories with others, browse and vote on links submitted by users like you, or discuss your opinions with like-minded people. We are run by the community, for the community. We depend on people like you to make the experience better for others.
So how does it work?
It's simple. Start by submitting a story you think that we should all be reading. Once submitted, it's placed in the queue where the article becomes open to the community. It's free to be commented on, praised, scrutinized, or just simply ignored. Any user can vote up the story if its deemed worthy, or vote it down for any reason. Once a story has received enough votes it's promoted to the front page where its chance to be seen increases greatly. However, if it doesn't get required number of votes, the story just languishes away in "Queued Links" purgatory. The community chooses what will (or won't) make it to the front page.

Founder, Designer, Coder
He was born, raised, and still resides in Canada. He has a degree in physics and currently works in R&D for a hearing instrument manufacturer. While not busy at work, he spends his free time learning about online business, website creation and development, as well as always making time for a little bit of hockey (did I mention he was Canadian?).
He very recently began a venture into brewing his own beer with a few friends form work. Stay tuned to see the result of this experiment (and whether or not they all end up blind).

A recent graduate of the University of Waterloo with a degree in mathematics, she currently works at Manulife Financial as a Corporate Accounts Underwriting Analyst. An avid reader and television enthusiast, she spends her free time keeping up to date with popular culture.
She also makes sure to spend a little bit of time each day playing with her cat, aptly named kitty.
