It's funny, because I see the whole thing in different light.. I think football is very exciting to watch and play.. (soccer, in your terms) whereas American Football - well, for me is mostly, something I don't understand, and find boring.

Football (soccer) is more intuitive whereas American Football is more tactical based. As far as I'm concerned Soccer is by far superiour, no comparison. I do enjoy a bit of NFL sometimes though.

Its all in what you're used to watching, what you grew up watching... They are two VERY different games, its tough to just compare one to the other. I would prefer NFL simply because I understand that game more than soccer. However, in the past year or so I have come to watch a greater amount of soccer (especially during the Euro cup) and have come to appreciate it more and more. Though in the end, as a good Canadian, I would take hockey over both anyway :)
