This is very similar to the “Top Contributer” plugin that can be used with Wordpress. It is my hope that webmasters will see the numerous ways to promote their site through SoLinkable, creating a larger user base and more active community.

It’s always been our desire at soLinkable to further community discussion. It’s the commentary that makes social media truly fun and that’s what keeps the users coming back. With that in mind I am very proud to present our second major feature to debut this month, soLinkable reply notification.

We have finally moved on from that awful blue mess. The new green, blue, and black soLinkable logo has now been released to the public. Also, notice the new avatars and favicon... Tell us what you think, did we move in the right direction? How does the new logo look?

New year, new… layout? It’s about time SoLinkable got a little sexier, so over the next few months expect some updates to our look.

We have now completed the move from Pligg to SWCMS. This update shouldn’t be noticeable on the front end, but it’s a major change behind the scenes. It involved migrating code/databases between the two systems.

We are taking numerous measures in an attempt to slow spam on SoLinkable. One of which is the submit anti-spam tool. The idea is that almost all spam comes from brand new members. By limiting their submissions, we hope that this will greatly reduce the total amount of submissions by one user group.
